The Jamor Swimming School once again organizes the HORA DO JAMOR event on Saturday, November 23rd, at the Jamor Swimming Pool Complex. HORA DO JAMOR is a swimming competition event in which each team swims for 1 hour.

On October 27, the first BioBlitz of Oeiras was held at no Centro Desportivo Nacional do Jamor (CDNJ). This event, organized by the Municipality of Oeiras, consisted of finding, identifying and registering through the Biodiversity4All platform, the largest possible number of species in a short time.

THE “NATIONAL STADIUM: HONOR STADIUM, CENTRAL TENNIS COURT, ATTACHED BUILDINGS AND THE WOODS INTEGRATED IN THE CDNJ” IS ONGOING
The classification procedure of the 'National Stadium: Honor Stadium, central tennis court, annex buildings and woods, integrated in the Centro Desportivo Nacional do Jamor, and the establishment of the respective special interim protection zone (ZEPP) is in progress in Cruz Quebrada, União das Freguesias de Algés, Linda-a-Velha e Cruz Quebrada-Dafundo, municipality of Oeiras, district of Lisbon.

JAMOR RIVER CLEANING WORKS
As part of the works of the Eixo Verde e Azul (Green and Blue Axis), there are plans to clean the banks of the Jamor River, in the area of the Centro Desportivo Nacional do Jamor (CDNJ), with subsequent recovery through sowing and planting trees and shrubs characteristic of the riparian zones.

RENOVATION OF THE ATHLETICS TRACK NATIONAL STADIUM
The renovation of the number 1 athletics track at the National Stadium is now underway. As a result of this intervention, the track will be closed between August 28 and October 30, 2019.
