Veterans World Championship at Portugal
From July 31 to August 13, Portugal will be the venue for the World Championship of Seniors, teams and individual. 32 nationalities, 130 teams and more than 600 players will be present.
PORTUGAL OPEN – NATIONAL YOUTH AND ABSOLUTE CHAMPIONSHIPS | SWIMMING
On the 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th of July (Wednesday to Saturday) the Jamor Swimming Pool Complex will host the Portuguese Open – National Youth and Absolute Championships in Swimming, organized by the Portuguese Swimming Federation.
JAMOR SCHOOLS PROJECT
he Centro Desportivo Nacional do Jamor (CDNJ) frequently organizes study visits to its facilities, particularly aimed at secondary and higher education students. These visits also have the collaboration of CAR Jamor, whose facilities and services are also made known to students.
THE BAND'S FIRST STADIUM CONCERT IN PORTUGAL AND THE BIGGEST AND MOST AMBITIOUS EVER.
Heavy metal legends Iron Maiden will stop in the Portuguese capital as part of their Legacy Of The Beast tour, which began in 2018 and has toured 39 countries around the world. The show will take place at Centro Desportivo Nacional do Jamor (CDNJ), and will be one of the last concerts of the European tour, and of the general tour, in the summer of 2022. The rock veterans are also joined by Airbourne and Within Temptation.
CONDITIONS FOR ACCESS, CIRCULATION AND PERMANENCE OF PEOPLE IN THE MATA DO CDNJ
In compliance with the Contingency Declaration, the Municipal Civil Protection of Oeiras activated the Municipal Operational Plan for the Defense of the Forest against Fires, and the access, movement and permanence of people in the woods of the National Sports Center of Jamor is now prohibited until 11:59 pm of the day July 15th (exceptions defined in the Contingency Order). All users are called upon to comply with the determination, as well as to help safeguard Jamor's green areas through the adoption of preventive behaviors to avoid the risk of fires.
Municipal Operational Plan
MUNICIPALITY OF OEIRAS ACTIVES MUNICIPAL OPERATIONAL PLAN DUE TO CONTINGENCY STATE Following the State of Contingency decreed by the Government, the Municipality of Oeiras activated its Municipal Operational Plan for the Defense of the Forest Against Fires immediately.
NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP SENIOR TEAMS
The National Sports Center of Jamor (CDNJ) will host, between 14 and 17 JULY 2022, the National Championship Senior Teams 2nd Division men and women and the National Championship Senior Teams 3rd Division.
THE IBERCUP TOURNAMENT COMES BACK TO JAMOR
The Centro Desportivo Nacional do Jamor (CDNJ) will once again host, between July 5th and July 9th, several of the games of the IberCup Tournament. The IberCup is currently one of the most important World Youth Football Tournaments in the world. Since the first edition, around 100 countries have already been represented in these competitions.
THE BIGGEST HARD ROCK AND HEAVY METAL FESTIVAL IN PORTUGAL
The Estádio Nacional will host, between June 30 and July 2, the Festival Voa, the biggest hard rock and heavy metal festival in Portugal After two years of interruption due to the pandemic, the VOA – Heavy Rock Festival returns to Portugal to celebrate its 11th edition on June 30, July 1 and 2, at Estádio Nacional, at Centro Desportivo Nacional do Jamor (CDNJ).

Today, another anniversary of the National Stadium is celebrated: inaugurated on June 10th, 1944, the most emblematic piece of what we know today as Centro Desportivo Nacional do Jamor (CDNJ) turns 78 today.

The Portuguese Hockey Federation celebrates next Saturday, May 28, at the Centro Desportivo Nacional do Jamor (CDNJ), the Hockey Day.
AMENDMENT TO THE REGULATION REGARDING STREET VENDING AT CDNJ
On the recommendation of the Portuguese Football Federation and the Public Security Police, an amendment was introduced to the Regulation on street vending at the CDNJ: from next year, street vending must cease its activity after the kick-off of the games.
SPORTING CP AND FC FAMALICÃO MATCH THE FINAL SATURDAY, MAY 28 SATURDAY
The final of the Portugal Cup Women's, the game Sporting CP vs. FC Famalicão, will take place at Estádio Nacional on Saturday, May 28. David Carreira and Nenny will perform live before the grand finale of the queen cup.

The regulation on street vending at the Centro Desportivo Nacional do Jamor (CDNJ) has already been published for the finals of the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) competitions that will take place at Jamor between May 14 and June 5.
