OFFICIAL PRESENTATION OF THE LYNXRACE
The LYNXRACE Oeiras 2019, the most exciting sports adventure of the year, will be presented to the public on Saturday, April 13, at the Centro Desportivo Nacional do Jamor (CDNJ), between 11am and 2pm. The presentation is divided in two parts: training with obstacles and press conference. Both times happen on the lawn in front of the climbing wall of Jamor.
THE LARGEST YOUTH FOOTBALL EVENT WILL BE HELD AGAIN AT JAMOR
A further edition of IberCup Cascais will take place between 15 and 18 April. Several of the games of this major youth football tournament will be played at the Centro Desportivo Nacional do Jamor (CDNJ).
THE CDNJ LAUNCHES THE PROJECT "JAMOR PARA TODOS / JAMOR FOR ALL", TO BE INTEGRATED IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE NATIONAL PROGRAM OF SPORT FOR ALL
With the objective of systematically giving the users of the Centro Desportivo Nacional do Jamor (CDNJ) access to a wide range of activities with adequate technical framework and attractive spaces and equipment, the project was launched "Jamor para Todos / Jamor for All", to be included in the framework of the National Program of Sport for All.
CAMPEONATO NACIONAL DE CLUBES – 1.ª DIVISÃO
The National Club Championship - 1st division, promoted by the Portuguese Swimming Federation, will take place at the Complexo de Piscinas do Jamor on 13 and 14 April (Saturday and Sunday).
PERMANENT SURVEILLANCE OF THE CDNJ’S FOREST AREA AND TRAINING OF FIRE FIGHTERS IN THE FIGHT AGAINST FOREST FIRES
The Centro Desportivo Nacional do Jamor (CDNJ)) and the Associação Humanitária dos Bombeiros do Dafundo (AHBVD) have agreed on the transformation of the station of the extinct Emissora Nacional into a post of surveillance of the forest and for firefighting training, thus ensuring permanent surveillance of the Jamor’s forest area, in a place that will also be used to train firefighters in the fight against forest fires.
NEXT SATURDAY, MARCH 16, BEGINS IN THE NATIONAL STADIUM ANOTHER ONE EDITION OF CORRIDA LUSO 7K
Next Saturday, March 16, begins in the National Stadium another one edition of corrida Luso 7k. The Luso 7K race, organized by the Maratona Clube de Portugal, is an integral part of the EDP Meia Maratona program in Lisbon.
INTERRUPTION OF ACTIVITIES ON THE NAUTICAL ACTIVITIES TRACK DUE TO THE CLEANING INTERVENTION
The Centro Desportivo Nacional do Jamor (CDNJ) informs all users that as of March 13 (Wednesday) the Nautical Activities Trail will be subject to a cleaning intervention, which will motivate the interruption of activities in this facility for about a month.
LAUNCH CEREMONY OF THE FIRST STONE OF EVA - EIXO VERDE E AZUL
The ceremony was held on February 27 to launch the first stone of the EVA - Eixo Verde e Azul, a ceremony attended by the Mayor of Oeiras, Dr. Isaltino Morais and the President of the Instituto Português do Desporto e Juventude, IP, Dr. Vitor Pataco.
AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE IPDJ, I.P., THE DGTF AND THE FPT, CEDED TO THIS FEDERATION THE EXPLORATION OF THE TENNIS TRAINING CENTER
The establishment of this agreement of use between the Instituto Português do Desporto e Juventude, I.P. (IPDJ, IP), the Direção-Geral do Tesouro e Finanças (DGTF) and the Federação Portuguesa de Ténis (FPT) will allow the use of facilities and equipment of the Tennis Training Center and the creation of synergies, while reducing costs and improving the conditions of operation of this sports facility, as well as the promotion of sports in accessible conditions.
THE WORKS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE EIXO VERDE E AZUL IN THE CDNJ AREA WILL BEGIN IN FEBRUARY
The Eixo Verde and Azul project aims to reclaim and create 100 hectares of green space along the banks of the river Jamor, from Serra da Carregueira to Cruz Quebrada, through the Centro Desportivo Nacional do Jamor (CDNJ).
THE COMPLEXO DE PISCINAS DO JAMOR WILL RECEIVE NEXT 9 AND 10 FEBRUARY THE MEETING INTERNACIONAL DE LISBOA
The Meeting Internacional de Lisboa will take place on February 9 and 10 (Saturday and Sunday) at the Complexo de Piscinas do Jamor, an event promoted by the Lisbon Swimming Association.
THE WORKS CONCERNING THE REQUALIFICATION OF THE ESPAÇO DE JOGO E RECREIO ARE ALREADY COMPLETED IN THE URBAN PARK OF JAMOR
Works on the requalification of the Espaço de Jogo e Recreio in the Jamor Urban Park were completed last Friday.
THE CORTA-MATO ESCOLAR CONCELHIO DE OEIRAS WILL BE HELD ON JANUARY 17 AT THE JAMOR URBAN PARK
On January 17, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., another edition of Corta-Mato Escolar Concelhio de Oeiras, a event that aims to support and encourage sports in the school context.
THE NATIONAL ROAD CHAMPIONSHIP WILL BE HELD IN JAMOR THE NEXT JANUARY 12
The National Road Championship, organized by the Portuguese Athletics Federation, will take place at the National Sports Center of Jamor next Saturday, January 12th. This event will cause some road traffic constraints.
SOME ALTERATIONS CONCERNING THE PAYMENT OF SERVICES AT THE CDNJ WILL OCCUR TEMPORARILY
Due to the alteration of the company that provides CDNJ with security and front office services, and as long as it is not possible to resume normal operations, we inform that from January 2 there will be some changes as to the places and times were and when the payments of services can be performed.
THERE WILL BE SOME CHANGES TO THE SCHEDULES OF THE CDNJ'S INSTALLATIONS DURING CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR, AS IS USUAL IN THIS TIME
As is usual during these holiday periods, there will be some changes in the schedules of the different sports facilities of the Centro Desportivo Nacional do Jamor (CDNJ) during the Christmas and New Year periods.
NEXT SUNDAY, DECEMBER 16, WE WILL HAVE THE 37 EDITION OF THIS EVENT
The Grande Prémio de Atletismo da Cruz Quebrada will be held on December 16. The Troféu CM Oeiras - Corrida das Localidades is celebrating its 37 edition this year.

BETWEEN DECEMBER 3 AND 7 AN INTERVENTION WILL BE PERFOMED AT THE RECREATIONAL PLAYGROUND IN THE URBAN PARK OF JAMOR WITH A VIEW TO THE REHABILITATION OF THAT INSTALLATION
The recreational playground of the CDNJ, in the Urban Park of Jamor, which has been closed for the safety of its users since last summer, since there have been several falls of large branches of eucalyptus trees in this space, will be subject to an intervention which intends to definitively solve this problem.
THE ASSOCIAÇÃO VAMOS SALVAR O JAMOR AND THE CENTRO DESPORTIVO NACIONAL DO JAMOR JOIN EFFORTS FOR A REFORESTATION INITIATIVE
On December 8, at 10:00 a.m., the Associação Vamos Salvar o Jamor (ASVJ), in close collaboration with the Centro Desportivo Nacional do Jamor (CDNJ), will carry out an initiative to reforest some areas of Jamor.
