JAMOR
Inaugurated on June 10th, 1944, the Centro Desportivo Nacional do Jamor (CDNJ) (National Sports Center of Jamor) is a complex of public sports infrastructures located in the valley of the river Jamor, in Oeiras, Portugal, very close to Lisbon.
The CDNJ provides its users with various sports facilities, as well as an urban park and an extensive forest area, being a privileged space to support the development of sports at all levels, from high-performance sports to federated sports and leisure sports.
The CAR-Jamor is also located in the CDNJ space. The CAR-Jamor services respond to the needs of the preparation of high-performance athletes, national teams, and young athletes with sports talent in the process of development and has a set of services oriented to improving sports performance, which include: accommodation, nutrition, evaluation and control of training, clinical accompaniment and an altitude program.
Administratively, both CDNJ and CAR-Jamor are organic units of the Instituto Português do Desporto e Juventude, IP (Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth).
