HIGH PERFORMANCE ATHLETES

The Instituto Português do Desporto e Juventude, I.P. is evaluating the conditions under which athletes and coaches can use the facilities of the Centro Desportivo Nacional do Jamor (CDNJ), minimizing their health risks.

This assessment takes place within the scope of the state of emergency and the measures enacted in the Council of Ministers, which provides for the possibility of high-performance athletes to be able to use sports facilities, in the framework of their sports preparation.

The evaluation is being carried out in collaboration with the different sports federations, with the Olympic Committee of Portugal (COP), the Paralympic Committee of Portugal (CPP) and the respective medical teams, and will take into account the guidelines issued by the health authorities.
