JAMOR- Actions to protect and know its Biodiversity Action on October

With the aim of encouraging the general community to preserve, discover and feel the natural spaces and raise awareness of ecological awareness, the CDNJ will develop actions related to the protection and knowledge of Jamor species, open to the entire community.
These actions have 5 themes, with the intention that each week one of these actions will be carried out. The actions include cleaning the forest, immersion in nature, getting to know the flora of the Jamor forest and creating projects with elements found in it.

Protect
Action 1: Cleaning the forest
Action lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes, where the walk is combined with the collection of garbage that is in the area of ​​the Jamor forest and spread across its green spaces.
Materials needed: gloves, 1 plastic bag, comfortable shoes, water.


Action 2: Collection of green waste
Action lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes, where the walk is combined with the collection of green waste scattered around the woods (sticks, pine cones).
Material needed: gloves, comfortable shoes, water.

Action 3: Immersion in Nature

1 hour and 30 minute walk through the Jamor forest, with stops in strategic places for contemplation, reflection and relaxation. In these places, they should close their eyes for 1 minute, standing or sitting, relax, breathe and listen to their surroundings.

When you open your eyes, you should look for something that catches your eye and that you consider beautiful and/or interesting. If you have a camera or cell phone, take one or more pictures. Along with a caption that mentions two things you like.

Action 4: Discover
With the help of a Jamor flora guide, we invite you to take a 1 hour and 30 minute walk to try to identify some trees and plants in this area. At the same time, he lists the species that he was able to identify.

Action 5: Create
For those who have a creative streak or simply want to explore this area, you will have 30 minutes to collect materials (leaves, seeds, fruits, sticks, stones, etc.) The action lasts for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
