SOLIDARITY EVENT WITH AFGHAN REFUGEES
The FMH ALUMNI (Association of Former Students of INEF-ISEF-FMH) has joined the Portuguese Red Cross and will hold on February 19th at the Centro Desportivo Nacional do Jamor (CDNJ), a Solidarity Event with Afghan refugees welcomed in Lisbon .
From February 14th to the 19th we will receive donations of sports equipment for individual (clothing and footwear) and collective use (balls, rackets, ropes, weights, etc.), at the Jamor Swimming Pool Complex, next to the Secretariat. Join us!
On February 19th, between 2:30 pm and 5:30 pm, the refugee community and the FMH community will socialize and experience a set of activities providing an afternoon full of sports (canoeing, football, walking football, minigolf, cricket, Portuguese and Afghan traditions, etc.), humanism and solidarity in a place as beautiful and with so much history as the CDNJ.
This event will be possible thanks to the collaboration of IPDJ – CDNJ, Oeiras Valley – Municipality of Oeiras, Social Innovation Sports, Faculty of Human Motricity, Benfica Foundation, Portuguese Cricket Federation and Young Birds United.
Activities on February 19th:
- 10:00 – 18:00 - Collection of donations of sports equipment for individual use (clothing and footwear) and collective use (balls, rackets, ropes, weights, etc.)
- 14:30 – 17:30 - Experimentation of sports activities by the refugee community, promoted by the FMH Alumni community, Social Innovation Sports and their partners.
