NATIONAL RUNNING AND RACE PROGRAM (PNMC)
The National Marching and Running Program (Programa Nacional de Marcha e Corrida) announces the reopening of its center in Jamor, already next Saturday, January 9th.
The now called Centro de Marcha e Corrida do Jamor – Professor Pedro Rocha (in honor of the coordinator of the National Walking and Running Program, who died at the end of last year), has Luís Pinto and Susana Francisco as responsible technicians, working in the same way as before , but now with new schedule: Mondays and Wednesdays, from 6.30 pm to 8 pm, and Saturdays from 10.30 am to 12 pm.
Registration for use of this Center can be made on the websites of the Portuguese Athletics Federation and the National March and Run Program.
Information about the reopening of the Centro de Marcha e Corrida do Jamor – Professor Pedro Rocha on January 9, 2021:
- Concentration: 10 am-10.30 am on the Main Track of the National Stadium;
- After concentrating on the main track, walk to the CAR Jamor track entrance building;
- In this place, there will be a simple ceremony with the intervention of FPA's President, Professor Jorge Vieira, with the unveiling of the Centro de Marcha e Corrida do Jamor – Professor Pedro Rocha plate;
- The first reopening training will take its course and the ceremony ends.
We ask that, during this initiative, they respect the rules and guidelines of the DGS, namely the use of a mask.
