NATIONAL ROAD CHAMPIONSHIP
The National Road Championship, organized by the Portuguese Athletics Federation (FPA), will take place at the Centro Desportivo Nacional do Jamor (CDNJ) on Saturday, January 12th.
The National Road Championship is an integral part of the FPA Competitions Calendar, awarding the individual and collective titles of National Road Champions at various levels.
The event takes place on a route all along the road, departing from the interior of the synthetic track of the National Stadium, and then traveling around the stadium (Paço de Arcos and Algés).
Alongside the federated athletes, there is also an open race for recreational runners not affiliated with the FPA.
Participation in the race is open to all interested parties, regardless of nationality or gender, provided that they are duly registered, in accordance with the regulations and on time.
The minimum age of participation in the race 10 km is 18 years, made up to the date of the race according to FPA rules for events with distances equal or greater than 10 km.
This event will cause the automobile transit to stop at Avenida Pierre Coubertin and Avenida Marginal between 14:30 and 17:30.
